Remote work has provided some individuals with new employment prospects, more time with their families, and the choice of whether or not to commute. However, this has created new issues, as teams have grown more compartmentalized and digital tiredness has become a serious threat. The purpose of this research is to offer an overview of the relationships between four main constructs, namely transformational leadership, employee engagement, wellbeing versus burnout via the employment of a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. In addition, the future goal – as derived from an in-depth study of the relevant literature - is to determine whether and to what extent the leadership style effects employee engagement, as well as their wellbeing versus burnout. The examination is designed to take place in the context of firms operating in hybrid work environments, mixing online and on-site work as well as contacts with co workers and leadership. The primary premise is that the leadership style has a substantial impact on employee engagement and well-being, or burnout if they are not aligned with the present work issues.Item A bibliometric analysis of four constructs interconnections : innovation, competitive advantage, agility and performance(Sciendo, 2023) Jerdea, LoredanaIn a globalized economy, innovation is a priority of ensuring the competitive advantage and organizational performance of agile companies, competitiveness being the core of the development in any economic activity. Consequently, the purpose of this research is to provide an overview regarding the connections between four main constructs, respectively innovation, competitive advantage, agility and (firm) performance, through performing a bibliometric analysis by using the VOSviewer visualization tool. The information has been selected from the Web of Science Core Collection database (WoS) during February 2023. This preliminary study aims to grant relevance to the potential research areas prone to be exploited when discussing the matter of innovation in relation to performance, competitive advantage achievement and agility. The main premise is that every company has its particularities and acts accordingly to stay competitive through innovating its business model and through an articulate innovation management, also encompassing agility, with a view to reach organizational performance and strong competitive advantage. In terms of findings, the bibliometric analysis conducted confirms the existence of compelling relationships between constructs, thus supporting further scrutiny in this direction.Item A bibliometric analysis of knowledge dynamics and open innovation process(Sciendo, 2024-07-03) Camară, Andreea BiancaThe article investigates from an analytical perspective the relationship between knowledge dynamics and open innovation and their influence on today's business environment. The present study starts from the premise that the development of a fluid and constant flow of knowledge exchange outside the organization influences the processes of open innovation. Allowing the rapid adaptation of organizations to the new effervescent demands of the market and consumers. The addition brought by this paper represents a conceptual expansion of the need to understand the possible implications of external and internal knowledge, of a rational, emotional, or spiritual nature, on the processes of development of new strategies, products, and services. There is no substantial information available in the specialized literature about the two concepts, which highlights the need to develop more qualitative and quantitative research in this direction. Using the bibliometric analysis with VOSviewer software, the paper presents a series of results that can be further developed and analyzed. The first perspective highlighted by this study is the potential of emotional, rational, and spiritual knowledge to improve relationships with consumers as a result of implementing a constant flow of communication. This fact is supported by the symbiotic relationship between the role of knowledge dynamics in encouraging the exchange of knowledge between consumers and organizations that stimulates an open, transparent communication environment focused on continuous learning. The study also emphasizes the involvement of collaboration, adaptability, and dynamic capabilities to explore how knowledge dynamics influence and stimulate innovative culture.Item A bibliometric analysis of performance management and employee well-being(Sciendo, 2024-07-03) Lungu, Diana CristinaIn light of the unprecedented challenges brought about by the pandemic and recent societal shifts, there has been a notable transformation in people's lives and needs. The methodology used is based on a bibliometric analysis that was performed with t he specialized software VOSviewer. The analysis graphically illustrates nine semantic clusters that are presenting the co-citation distances between various concepts that are related to the search expressions that were used, including ”intellectual capital”, ”performance” and ”agility”. When it comes to the database, there were used the papers published in journals that were indexed in Scopus. The outcomes of this research paper are the graphical representation of the semantic clusters for the already mentioned searched expressions and a series of tables that include the content analysis of the nine clusters and other data of interest concerning the publications (such as the top 10 countries that published articles related to the topic of interest and the types of documents retrieved). The findings are demonstrating that there is a consistent link between innovation, intellectual capital, knowledge management, performance and agility. The contribution of this research comes from the fact that it is the first bibliometric analysis of the correlation between intellectual capital, performance and agility, as reflected in the papers retrieved from Scopus.Item A co-occurence scrutinity of transformational leadership, employee engagement, well-being and burnout via a bibliometric analysis(Sciendo, 2023) Vătămănescu, Elena Mădălina; Vintilă, FlorinaIn the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, employees anticipate that their leaders will demonstrate greater empathy for the unexpected issues in the workplace. According to recent studies, the present and future require leadership to reimagine human resources leadership and the entire employee experience by focusing on people, cooperation, tight communication, and reestablishing connection and trust. In their 2021 report on the future of work after Covid-19, McKinsey Global Institute notes that hybrid remote work could continue to address the fact that 20 to 25 percent of workers in advanced economies and around 10 percent in emerging economies could work from home three to five days a week, primarily in computer-based office work, including offices of all sizes and corporate headquarters. In this light, the purpose of this research to provide an overview of the relationships between the leadership style, employee engagement, as well as their wellbeing versus burnout. The paper intends to propose a bibliographic analysis of the scientific articles simultaneously tackling the main envisaged constructs, respectively leadership, engagement, well-being and burnout. Given the fact that the inclusion of the Covid-19 pandemic would have narrowed down too much the analysis, the term was not considered in the searches. The bibliometric analysis was performed by means of VOSviewer.Item A preliminary framework linking the managerial global mindset and the degree of internationalization of Romanian SMEs(Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Faculty of Management, 2022) Mitan, Andreea; Vătămănescu, Elena Mădălina; Stratone, Mădălina ElenaThe present paper aims to explore the relationship among two main constructs, namely the degree of internationalization and the managerial global mindset, a three-dimension factor covering the Global Social Capital, Global Intellectual Capital and Global Psychological Capital. Therefore, this paper proposes the adaptation of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Usage of Technology (UTAUT) model to explore the motivations for the use of digital tools by field crop farmers in Romania. The history of TAM and UTAUT is explored as well as the usage of UTAUT2 and UTAUT3 in digital agriculture adoption studies globally. Furthermore, comparison is also made with other farmer studies based on a different research architecture conceived also to explore their motivations to use digital agriculture tools. The proposed model is building on the decades long research and validation of the UTAUT model, and it will be employed in subsequent quantitative studies to evaluate the Romanian farmers’ motivations to embrace the digital agriculture technologies and practices. The paper is the outcome of the individual research done by the author and it was enhanced following academic debates and conference presentations. It is deemed to have a dual applicability, as a field tool for academic research but also provides guidance for companies developing digital tools for farmers in Romania and beyond.Item B2B strategies and management practices in business internationalization in the digital transformation era(Tritonic, 2022-10-20) Biea, Elena AdrianaNowadays special attention must be attached to B2B management strategies and practices in order to expand businesses internationally, considering the new elements of global interest that have appeared with the post-COVID-19 period and the recent digital transformations. This research paper is a preliminary theoretical approach. More specifically, draw on the theories of different strategies and practices that will support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which intend to grow in international markets and strengthen their strategic relationships with partners and stakeholders from converging industries. The focus is especially on the methods and practices studied in order to internationalize businesses, whether we are talking about joint ventures, direct acquisitions, or strategic alliances. Moreover, the research aims to be a theoretical point of reference for managers, strategists, researchers, and organizations seeking solutions to accelerate business internationalization and push the business toward new profitable markets. At the macroeconomic level, when we refer to the internationalization of business, an area of interest in the competitiveness and expansion of B2B relations is represented by the role of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, the new 5G and 6G technologies that aim to bring a new dimension to the world we currently know. The technological process will generate huge differences in the efficiency of global organizations regarding the implementation of solutions based on artificial intelligence and edge computing. From this point of view, this research also approaches novel relationships, less studied in the specialized literature - the impact of these new technologies on the competitiveness of the business and on the expansion of businesses on the international markets.Item Before and after the outbreak of Covid-19 : linking fashion companies’ corporate social responsibility approach to consumers’ demand for sustainable products(Elsevier, 2021-09) Vătămănescu, Elena Mădălina; Dabija, Dan Cristian; Gazzola, Patrizia; Cegarra Navarro, Juan Gabriel; Buzzi, TaniaThe current exploratory endeavour sets out to scrutinize the relationships between the corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach of fashion companies, their strategic CSR communication, corporate reputation, and consumers’ propensity towards buying sustainable products. The study elaborates on consumers’ perspective on these variables, comparing two-time frameworks, before and after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The empirical research was performed on 977 Millennials and Gen Zers, thus extending previous studies based on the generational theory. Emphasis was placed on the fashion sector as one of the industries most challenged by the pandemic, with Italy being one of the most affected European countries. Scrutiny relied on a questionnaire-based survey; data being processed via structural equation modelling (SEM) technique. The findings reveal that consumers attach great importance to the social and environmental sustainability practices applied by companies (i. e., circular economy issues, location of apparel production, organic production of raw materials, pollution generated during production, respect of workers’ rights and health, and use of recycled materials) and to the attributes of targeted products, even since the spread of the virus. The empirical evidence has substantive implications for scholars, professionals, and companies, urging that sustainability priorities are critical to favourable consumer behaviour, and implicitly to business survival.Item Beyond the manuscript : unraveling author-publisher dynamics(Faculty of Management (SNSPA), 2023-12-30) Osadci Baciu, Ana Maria; Zbuchea, AlexandraIn recent years, customer experience and satisfaction have become more critical than ever before. Companies focus on these two elements to retain and acquire customers in a highly competitive environment. The relationship between authors and publishers has always been complex, with dynamics deeply rooted in the social and cultural environment. At the same time, the success of their collaboration significantly impacts the local creative and sociocultural landscape. It is essential to understand the factors that determine author satisfaction and ease of collaboration, both generally and industry-specific, to support the growth and development of the book sector. This paper analyzes the collaborative dynamics between authors and publishers using the Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and Customer Effort Score (CES) metrics based on a survey of 133 authors from various literary fields and geographic areas in Romania. The research findings provide insight into the key drivers behind authors' satisfaction and ease of collaboration with publishers. Moreover, we suggest practical recommendations from authors to publishers that can improve their collaborative processes, enhancing positive experiences for authors and potentially improving the overall quality of published works. This study's insights shall benefit authors, publishing houses, various organizations operating in the publishing field, policymakers, and regulatory bodies.Item Brand management. Impactul pandemiei de COVID-19 și evoluție post-pandemie(Tritonic, 2021) Pătruți, PetraItem Business models in publishing industry : a comparative analysis between Romania and the Republic of Moldova(Tritonic, 2022) Osadci Baciu, Ana MariaThe book market in Romania and the Republic of Moldova is quite small and in an infant stage compared to the international market (especially when contrasted with mature markets such as Western Europe and the US). In the last decades, however, with the collapse of the communist era, more entrepreneurial initiatives emerged in these markets, growing slowly but steadily. This study focuses on the publishing industry and the successful business models in these countries. Two independent publishing houses, Nemira (from Romania) and ARC (from the Republic of Moldova) are analyzed through the business models canvas strategic management template. The key findings are further discussed to assess the competitive advantages, strategies, and key success factors of the business models used by these already well-established publishing houses. Combining the editorial part with the commercial side, having a well-thought marketing strategy and online presence, as well as strategic partnerships with cultural institutions and economic agents are significant aspects when it comes to the success of an editorial business. Each of the two studied publishing houses is adapted to their environment and deeply understands the market they operate in. As nowadays value is placed on customer experience more than ever, actors in the publishing industry are put in the position to understand their targeted audience and create suitable strategies for the needs they intend to fulfill. The analysis presented in this paper aims to assess what business models differentiate actors in the publishing field in Romania and the Republic of Moldova from the competition and how extra value could be added to this industry.Item Când pandemia este sursă de inovare în afaceri(Tritonic, 2021) Vițelar, Alexandra
