When it comes to the database, there were used the papers published in journals that were indexed in Scopus. The outcomes of this research paper are the graphical representation of the semantic clusters for the already mentioned searched expressions and a series of tables that include the content analysis of the nine clusters and other data of interest concerning the publications (such as the top 10 countries that published articles related to the topic of interest and the types of documents retrieved). The findings are demonstrating that there is a consistent link between innovation, intellectual capital, knowledge management, performance and agility. Although intelligence has got, over time, a large variety of interpretations, such as business intelligence, competitive intelligence or national security intelligence, in this research the term intelligence is used to describe the knowledge required by the decision makers and leaders of a country in order to act for achieving the social, economic, political and military stability. The methodology used for conducting this research is based on the capabilities of the specialized software VOSviewer, respectively the bibliometric analysis with the co-occurrence of certain keywords, which emphasizes the correlation of certain fields. Also, the data needed for this research was exported from Web of science core collection and Scopus, the two largest bibliographic databases in the world. The results showed that the knowledge management and intelligence domain were not researched together.Item Mapping the impact of the intellectual capital on the agility and performance of an organization : a bibliometric study(University of Zilina, 2023) Stratone, Mădălina ElenaResearch Background: In a changing environment, it is very important for the organizations to understand that the intellectual capital represents an asset for the organization, as it can impact its agility and performance. While previous research has explored the relationship between intellectual capital, agility, and performance, there is a need for a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge landscape and for the research trends when it comes to this topic. Thus, a bibliometric analysis offers a systematic and quantitative approach to map the intellectual structure, identify influential studies, and uncover emerging themes and gaps in the literature. Purpose of the article: The purpose of this research is to present a bibliometric analysis of the literature focusing on the impact of the intellectual capital in the organizational agility and performance. Methods: The methodology employed in this study is centered around a bibliometric analysis conducted using the specialized software VOSviewer. This analysis visually represents nine semantic clusters that depict the co-citation relationships among various concepts related to the search terms utilized, such as "intellectual capital," "performance," and "agility." The study utilized papers published in Scopus-indexed journals as the database. Findings and value added: The research paper's outcomes consist of graphical representations of the semantic clusters associated with the aforementioned search terms, alongside tables presenting content analysis of these clusters and other relevant publication data (e.g., top 10 countries contributing to the topic and document types retrieved). The findings unequivocally establish a significant correlation between innovation, intellectual capital, knowledge management, performance, and agility. This research makes a notable contribution as the first bibliometric analysis exploring the interrelation of intellectual capital, performance, and agility, as evidenced by the papers retrieved from the Scopus database.Item The differences between competitive intelligence, business intelligence and national security intelligence : a bibliometric analysis(Tritonic, 2023-10-27) Budeanu, Nicolae AlexandruThe concept of “intelligence” represents an important subject for researchers, being developed, over time, in many categories, such as business intelligence, competitive intelligence and national security intelligence. Even so, those meanings basically refer to the same capacity of processing data, information, and knowledge, their differences coming from their area of expertise. Given so, national security intelligence is associated with the state institutions, while business intelligence and competitive intelligence are associated with private companies. National security intelligence represents the capacity of the leaders of a country to process the significant data, information and knowledge for the security of that country, from all possible perspectives. For achieving this performance, each country has its own intelligence structures that must collect data and information, analyze and transform them into valuable knowledge for the decision-makers. The methods and means used for conducting the specific activities by these intelligence structures are mainly secret and classified. This paper represents a literature review regarding the possible links and connections between national security intelligence, business intelligence and competitive intelligence, aiming at discovering the possible similarities between these concepts. To achieve this goal, we used the bibliometric analysis conducted with the specialized software VOSViewer. This analysis was focused on the co-occurrence procedure using words and expressions from article title, abstracts and keywords. The databases used for this paper were retrieved from Web of Science core collection, using the following expressions for searching:”business intelligence – competitive intelligence”,”business intelligence - national security” and ”competitive intelligence - national security”. The results showed that there are not any publications that approach the differences between business intelligence, competitive intelligence and national security intelligence.
