Item A bibliometric analysis of a four-construct framework : innovation management, competitive advantage, agility and organizational performance(Faculty of Management (SNSPA), 2023-10-06) Jerdea, LoredanaIn a globalized economy, innovation is a priority of ensuring the competitive advantage and organizational performance of agile companies, competitiveness being the core of the development in any economic activity. Consequently, the purpose of this research is to provide an overview regarding the connections between four main constructs, respectively innovation management, competitive advantage, agility and organizational performance, through performing a bibliometric analysis by using the VOSviewer visualization tool. The information has been selected from the Web of Science Core Collection database (WoS) during February 2023. This preliminary study aims to grant relevance to the potential research areas prone to be exploited when discussing the matter of innovation management in relation to organizational performance, competitive advantage achievement and agility. The main premise is that every company has its particularities and acts accordingly to stay competitive through innovating its business model and through an articulate innovation management, also encompassing agility, with a view to reach organizational performance and strong competitive advantage. In terms of findings, the bibliometric analysis conducted confirms the existence of compelling relationships between constructs, thus supporting further scrutiny in this direction.Item A bibliometric analysis of four constructs interconnections : innovation, competitive advantage, agility and performance(Sciendo, 2023) Jerdea, LoredanaIn a globalized economy, innovation is a priority of ensuring the competitive advantage and organizational performance of agile companies, competitiveness being the core of the development in any economic activity. The methodology used is based on a bibliometric analysis that was performed with t he specialized software VOSviewer. The analysis graphically illustrates nine semantic clusters that are presenting the co-citation distances between various concepts that are related to the search expressions that were used, including ”intellectual capital”, ”performance” and ”agility”. When it comes to the database, there were used the papers published in journals that were indexed in Scopus. The outcomes of this research paper are the graphical representation of the semantic clusters for the already mentioned searched expressions and a series of tables that include the content analysis of the nine clusters and other data of interest concerning the publications (such as the top 10 countries that published articles related to the topic of interest and the types of documents retrieved). The findings are demonstrating that there is a consistent link between innovation, intellectual capital, knowledge management, performance and agility. The contribution of this research comes from the fact that it is the first bibliometric analysis of the correlation between intellectual capital, performance and agility, as reflected in the papers retrieved from Scopus.Item Mapping the impact of the intellectual capital on the agility and performance of an organization : a bibliometric study(University of Zilina, 2023) Stratone, Mădălina ElenaResearch Background: In a changing environment, it is very important for the organizations to understand that the intellectual capital represents an asset for the organization, as it can impact its agility and performance. While previous research has explored the relationship between intellectual capital, agility, and performance, there is a need for a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge landscape and for the research trends when it comes to this topic. Thus, a bibliometric analysis offers a systematic and quantitative approach to map the intellectual structure, identify influential studies, and uncover emerging themes and gaps in the literature. Purpose of the article: The purpose of this research is to present a bibliometric analysis of the literature focusing on the impact of the intellectual capital in the organizational agility and performance. Methods: The methodology employed in this study is centered around a bibliometric analysis conducted using the specialized software VOSviewer. This analysis visually represents nine semantic clusters that depict the co-citation relationships among various concepts related to the search terms utilized, such as "intellectual capital," "performance," and "agility." The study utilized papers published in Scopus-indexed journals as the database. Findings and value added: The research paper's outcomes consist of graphical representations of the semantic clusters associated with the aforementioned search terms, alongside tables presenting content analysis of these clusters and other relevant publication data (e.g., top 10 countries contributing to the topic and document types retrieved). The findings unequivocally establish a significant correlation between innovation, intellectual capital, knowledge management, performance, and agility. This research makes a notable contribution as the first bibliometric analysis exploring the interrelation of intellectual capital, performance, and agility, as evidenced by the papers retrieved from the Scopus database.
