In order to achieve these objectives, I have made a doctrinal and jurisprudential incursion, which led me to conclude that sustainable development is a concept whose practical implementation is dependent on national policies through its value, highlighting, ultimately, its link with the stability of the law. The results I have reached demonstrate that the law contributes effectively to achieving sustainable development only if there is legislative planning and if impact assessments are drawn up. Last but not least, the sustainability of the law is also ensured by its proper motivation.enSustainable developmentStability of the lawLegislative planningImpact assessmentsMotivationStability of the law – a prerequisite for sustainable developmentArticle
